Being engaged in worship each week, connected through group life, and serving at the church are essential building blocks to growing in faith. At SNC, we want to continue to seek next steps and move forward in faith. Faith in God is about relationship, and healthy relationships are not static; they move forward.
 
Here are some key next steps that you might consider as you seek to grow in relationship with God, and as a part of the community of faith.

At SNC, we count it a privilege to help you identify and take the Next Step God has for you. We are all works in progress, and it's through obedience to each Next Step that we grow in our faith and run the race marked out for us.  

Discipleship Academy is a series of classes you can take in any order and you may take just the classes you feel you'll benefit from. These classes repeat throughout the year August through June. See the most up-to-date schedule and get registered.

NEW BELIEVER CLASS This class is designed to help the new believer to understand salvation and to equip him or her to live as a disciple of Jesus.

NEXT STEPS  In this class, we will take a spiritual gifts assessment and we will determine where we are strong in our faith habits, and where there is room to grow. We will each identify our own next step and be pointed in the right direction to take that step.

MEMBERSHIP This class covers Nazarene doctrine, and how the Nazarene church operates. We will also share an overview of all of Springdale Nazarene Church’s ministries. At the end of the class you may decide whether membership is right for you.

DESIGNING YOUR DEVOTIONAL TIME Learn tools and methods for your devotional life, and how to fit them into your busy schedule.

HOW TO PRAY Prayer is a vital part of our relationship with the Lord. Learn the basics of prayer as well as some tools and methods to take your prayer life deeper.

BIBLE BASICS Learn how to navigate the Bible, and how to read it in a way you can understand and apply to your life. Receive an overview that will demonstrate how the entire Bible fits together, and learn some Bible Study tools to get the most out of your reading time.

VISIT A CONNECT GROUP
SNC has a variety of Connect Groups to choose from in the building on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, and several more that meet in homes throughout the week.

TAKE A SPIRITUAL ASSESSMENT TEST
Identify your gifts and strengths to help decide where and how to serve.

SCHECDULE A CHILD DEDICATION
Making this public commitment to raise your children to know the Lord allows the church to partner with you and support you.

REQUEST A MENTOR OR VOLUNTEER AS A MENTOR
These partnerships allow for support and a safe environment in which to ask questions and learn to be a strong, healthy Christian.

FIND A PLACE TO SERVE
Serving is an important part of being a believer. Find a way to serve that matches your gifts, talents, and schedule.

JOIN IN MEMBERSHIP
Membership says you are all in, joining our mission of reaching up, reaching in, and reaching out. It also grants you the right to vote in annual church elections.

SIGN UP FOR BAPTISM
Baptism is an important step for every believer in which we publicly testify to the transforming effect of our salvation.
