Discipleship Academy
At SNC, we count it a privilege to help you identify and take the Next Step God has for you. We are all works in progress, and it's through obedience to each Next Step that we grow in our faith and run the race marked out for us.
Discipleship Academy is a series of classes you can take in any order and you may take just the classes you feel you'll benefit from. These classes repeat throughout the year August through June.
NEW BELIEVER CLASS
This class is designed to help the new believer to understand salvation and to equip him or her to live as a disciple of Jesus.
NEXT STEPS
In this class, we will take a spiritual gifts assessment and we will determine where we are strong in our faith habits, and where there is room to grow. We will each identify our own next step and be pointed in the right direction to take that step.
DESIGNING YOUR DEVOTIONAL TIME
Learn tools and methods for your devotional life, and how to fit them into your busy schedule.
HOW TO PRAY
Prayer is a vital part of our relationship with the Lord. Learn the basics of prayer as well as some tools and methods to take your prayer life deeper.
BIBLE BASICS
Learn how to navigate the Bible, and how to read it in a way you can understand and apply to your life. Receive an overview that will demonstrate how the entire Bible fits together, and learn some Bible Study tools to get the most out of your reading time.
