On January 16th, 2019, Major Jonathan Turnbull's life changed in an instant. While leaving a school in Syria—where he and his team had worked to bring girls back to their classrooms after years under ISIS—a suicide bomber detonated just feet away. Four of his teammates were lost. Jonathan survived, but barely, enduring over twenty surgeries and months of rehabilitation in the long road back.

This July 5th, Major Turnbull joins us at SNC to share his story—not one of bitterness, but of God's unwavering faithfulness through the darkest valley. It's a testimony of survival, of honoring those who gave everything, and of a hope that holds even when life is shattered.
