Being engaged in worship each week, connected through group life, and serving at the church are essential building blocks to growing in faith. At SNC, we want to continue to seek next steps and move forward in faith. Faith in God is about relationship, and healthy relationships are not static; they move forward.

Here are some key next steps that you might consider as you seek to grow in relationship with God, and as a part of the community of faith. If you are interested in taking one, or more of these steps, please fill out the contact form below.
REACHING UP
Baptism:
When someone who has been deeply changed by the love of Christ chooses to publicly commit to following after Jesus, we think that’s something to celebrate! Baptism is a visible testimony of God’s ability to fundamentally change our hearts, and this is a work that God longs to do in each of us.

Infant Dedication:
We believe our children are one of the greatest gifts that God gives us, so it is a great honor to come alongside parents and support them as they pledge to raise their children to follow Jesus.
REACHING IN
Membership:
We believe that membership can bring a greater sense of belonging and partnership. Those desiring to officially become members of SNC, complete a membership class which outlines the basic beliefs and origins of the Nazarene Church.

Passages:
This 10-week small group experience is a part of our overall Group Life strategy at SNC. Passages is designed to engage participants in conversations involving what matters most in being in a disciple of Jesus Christ.

SHAPE:
This 4-week small group experience is a part of our overall Group Life strategy at SNC. SHAPE is a class that works to help individuals find their fit at SNC by considering each person’s Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences.
REACHING OUT
Serve at SNC:
Finding a place to serve for each person is vital to growing in faith. We each have gifts and abilities to steward to serve others, and they need to be exercised.

Serve in your community:
Giving of our time and talent to our community is a key aspect of following Jesus. Serving through S.O.U.L. Ministries with food or clothing assistance for those in our community is one way to do just this. Serve Day is a great one-time catalytic event that SNC hosts each November as a way to serve many in our community.

Serve around the world:
Participating in one of the many SNC mission trips that happen each year, engaging in the annual Missions Auction each October, or serving at an organization like Matthew:25 in Blue Ash, are all valuable ways that we can show the love of God to the world.
