There are a number of opportunities where men can grow in relationship with God and connect with others at SNC. Connect groups, serving opportunities, and several sports leagues all create avenues for men to build a strong network of relationships in the church.
Two of our bigger events each year are the fall Tailgate Party at the church, and the Man Camp retreat that happens each May. The tailgate party has plenty of food, a Bengals game on the big screen, and give-aways. The retreat is an overnight event at Higher Ground, located in Harrison, IN. There is great food, challenging messages, and a number of activities from which to choose to participate, (shooting range, golf scramble, motorcycle ride, fishing, basketball, football, etc.)

Women’s Ministry at SNC is an active and thriving multi-generational community. We look to help women of all ages and walks of life follow SNC’s mission of Reaching UP, IN, & OUT.

We reach UP to God through worship and prayer. We reach IN to one another through discipleship and fellowship. And we reach OUT to others through missions and evangelism.

We achieve this through a variety of fun events that help to connect the diverse women who count SNC as their church home. Here’s an example of some of our events that happen through the course of a year which are avenues for Reaching UP & IN:
• Fall Kickoff: This event kicks off the season of Women’s Ministry events & activities.
• Christmas Dinner: A traditional Christmas dinner with over 100 ladies connected to SNC and a message to encourage you for the season.
• Craft Night: A night of crafting held at the church each February. This is a great chance to meet other ladies with similar interests.
• Retreat: A Friday to Saturday event that happens each spring. This is a dynamic time of worship, games, and engagement.
• Tea & Testimonies: Join us in May for a chance to enjoy a brunch with other ladies from the church and to hear stories of God’s faithfulness in the lives of several of the ladies from SNC.

A couple of the ways that we have sought to Reach OUT include:

• Cookies & Caroling for the Homebound: This is as simple as it sounds. It is gathering together with others from the church to sing carols to some of our SNC members who are not able to get out readily at their stage in life. Sharing some Christmas cookies and Christmas carols is a great way to share some joy.
• Coffee & Muffins: We set-up a table to provide treats to weary, rushed, and every other type of preschool parent at Little Sprouts Learning Center one day each year simply to encourage them.

• Life Forward Collection: The local pregnancy care center does a great deal of important work, and we look to support those efforts through the donation of items they need for upcoming and new mothers.
